Poem On Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj :
In the land of the Marathas bold,
A hero was born, whose story is told,
With a spirit that could never be tamed,
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was named.
From the hills of the Sahyadris high,
To the seas where the waves crash by,
His name rang out, strong and free,
A true warrior, he was meant to be.
With courage and conviction in his heart,
He fought for his people, from the very start,
Defying those who would take away,
The Maratha pride, come what may.
Through battles fierce and victories won,
Shivaji Maharaj’s legend was begun,
With a mind as sharp as his sword,
He carved a kingdom, to be adored.
His valor and wisdom, a guiding light,
In the hearts of his people, burning bright,
An inspiration for generations to come,
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, forever, a hero to some.
Oh, how he stands, tall and proud,
Above the fray, in his armor, unbowed,
A symbol of freedom, hope, and might,
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, a shining knight.
